Alexander Keith's Brewery Tour, Halifax, NS

This afternoon, as part of our sales conference, we did a tour of the Alexander Keith's Brewery.

There were about 55 of us so we were broken up into two groups.

Actors in period costumes take you back to 1863 (Alexander's time).

Putting JF to work!

We were given an explanation of how beer is made.

Then we were led into the Stag's Head Tavern for some sampling of their IPA, premium white, red amber ale and/or dark ale.

Keith's IPA is my beer of choice so I tried their premium white ... I liked it.

Here are Steve and I ... we've known each other since 1999 when we worked together at another company.

There was a game of cards played for beans.

Alas, the tour came to an end.

We had some time before our dinner reservations so we had a drink in the Red Stag Tavern, which is attached to the brewery.

It was a fun tour ... I'd done it years ago. I still found it entertaining yet again.

That looks fun, historical and interesting!

And it's only a few days until Alexander Keith's b-day!

Is it really the pride of Nova Scotia?
