Mill Street Brew Pub, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper at Mill Street Brew Pub in the Distillery District this evening.

I had Buttermilk Chicken Tenders and Fries with plum sauce on the side. I left a lot of fries and took a couple chicken fingers home for lunch tomorrow.

I had supper at Mill Street Brew Pub in the Distillery District.

The hostess sat me at a crappy table in a long empty room with just one other group of people (there were lots of empty tables throughout the restaurant). I asked for a different table and she said no because it was that table’s turn. Huh!? I asked again and she begrudgingly moved me to a less crappy but not stellar table. At least I could see a TV with the Jays game.

On the plus side, my Carnivore pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, sausage, bacon, soppressata) was delicious and half came home with me for lunch tomorrow.

I had supper at Mill Street Brew Pub in the Distillery District.

I had buttermilk chicken tenders with plum sauce and fries. The tenders were really good. It’s a big meal and I left most of my fries.

Gordon was my server … he was friendly and took good care of me.

After Gord and I saw A Streetcar Named Desire, we had supper at Mill Street Brew Pub in the Distillery District.

Gord had a Brewmaster’s Burger and fries (two pub patties, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, secret sauce, brioche bun). Some of his fries were cold so they brought him a hot fresh order. He really enjoyed his burger.

Before Gord and I saw Harvey, we had supper at Mill Street Brew Pub in the Distillery District.

He had fish and chips (Atlantic haddock, Original Organic Lager batter, house tartar sauce, fries, charred lemon, house salad) and I had buttermilk chicken tenders with plum sauce on the side.  Both were good.

After Gord and I saw The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale, we had supper at Mill Street Brew Pub in the Distillery District.

We both ordered burgers and fries which were really good. The buns were sooooo soft! Too many fries, though, and we left lots behind.

Carly was friendly and took good care of us.

Mill Street Brew Pub, Toronto, ON

After we went axe throwing, we had a late lunch at the Mill Street Brew Pub in the Distillery District.  It was a busy spot so it's a good thing we had a reservation!

Because the Toronto Christmas Market is going on, the restaurant is currently providing a reduced menu.  I ordered Fried Chicken Forestiere (without the wild mushroom sauce).  It was just okay.  The two pieces of chicken were boneless and a bit on the small side.  The chicken was tender but the outside was overcooked.

Mill Street Brew Pub, Toronto, ON

After Gord and I saw The Odd Couple, we had supper at the Mill Street Brew Pub, about a block from the theatre. It's been a while since we've been there.

It was a gorgeous afternoon (sunny and 24C) so we sat on the patio ... the patio and the restaurant ended up being packed and there was a line-up.

Gord started with the fish and shrimp cakes ... he said they were good (I'm not a fan of fish cakes).

Then he had the Chicken Schnitzel from their Oktoberfest menu which he said was good too.

I had the buttered chicken which was delicious.

Our server, Gio, was attentive when we got there before it got busy.
