Mildred's Temple Kitchen, Toronto, ON

I’ve been thinking about Mildred’s blueberry pancakes for a few years. I’ve wanted them but have never had them. 

I was in Liberty Village today and I decided that today was the day for them!  I had them for a late lunch and they were delicious!

Mildred Pierce was a restaurant that was in our neighbourhood. It moved last year and we've been waiting for it to reopen.

It's now Mildred's Temple Kitchen in Liberty Village. We walked by it on our way home this evening and peered in the window to see what it looked like.

Rory, the Maître d', rushed out and coaxed us in for a drink. Sure, why not?

We both ordered a glass of bubbly and Rory said it was on him. That was very nice! We ended up staying for a couple drinks.

It's a swanky restaurant and I was happy to see that chicken biryani, my fav Mildred Pierce meal, is still on the menu.

The washroom is co-ed. There are four stalls in the washroom, each with its own toilet and sink. When you lock the door of your stall, a light comes on by the door to the washroom so you know before you enter if there are any free.
