Bentley's Lounge, London, ON

I had supper this evening at Bentley's Lounge.  It's cold, windy and snowing so I didn't feel like going far.  I've eaten there before and had good meals.

I was sitting at my table for about 15 minutes while everyone else was being served (even people who arrived after I did).  So I yelled to him (yes, I yelled) and after that he was more attentive.

I ordered pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and no veggies.  The pork was tender and the potatoes were good.  There was a lot of jam so I ended up scraping it off and pushing to the side.

When I was paying, he apologized for ignoring me and said he hadn't seen me.  Um ... okay.  I think he might have been new as I heard him tell someone something to that effect.

Vic's on Wellington, London, ON

I had supper this evening at Vic's on Wellington, which is in Four Points by Sheraton hotel.

Vic's is currently being renovated so their meals are served in Bentley's Lounge.

I ordered the Smoke House burger (without onions or cheese), which Vanessa, my server said was her favourite.  It was a delicious messy burger.  The fries were good too but I only had a few because the burger was so substantial and filling.

I had supper this evening at Bentley's Lounge. 

Until 6:30pm, they had free appies, wine and beer ... I got there in time to enjoy a glass of wine (6:15ish).

It was fairly crowded when I got there but lots left once happy hours were over.

I ordered a pork chop and garlic mashed potatoes for supper.  I've had it before and it was delish.  Today I think I got mustard grain mashed potatoes ... they were okay (not as good as the garlic mashed I've had there in the past).  The pork chop was juicy.

Chris was my server ... he was friendly and took good care of me.

It was raining this evening so I didn't want to go too far for supper ... Bentley's Lounge was close.

 It was nice and sunny once the rain stopped.

While I was waiting for my meal to arrive, Chris, the server/bartender, brought me a bowl of snacks (peanuts, etc.).  So addictive!

I ordered a grilled pork chop with apple chutney with garlic mashed potatoes.  It was good.

 Chris was very friendly and took good care of me.
