Jack Astor's Bar & Grill, Toronto ON (Yonge/Dundas)

I had supper tonight with former colleagues Baljeet (who I haven’t seen since September) and Helene (who I haven’t seen since 2010) at Jack Astor's at Yonge/Dundas.

 Here we are! It was lots of fun to get together and catch up!

I had Chicken Parmigiana (it's what I always order at a Jack Astor's), Helene had Naked and Afraid Chicken Fingers and Baljeet had Asiago Chicken Bow-Ties. All were good, though the pasta was cold. 

Jordan was friendly and took good care of us.

Franca, Anne and I saw Bat Out of Hell tonight.  We met for supper beforehand at Jack Astor's at Yonge/Dundas.

Franca ordered the Sesame Chicken Bowl.  She said it was delicious and that she loved it.

Anne ordered chicken fingers with hot Buffalo sauce and sweet potato fries.  She said she can take heat but found these a bit too hot.

After the Weird Al concert, Gord and I were hungry so we had supper at Jack Astor's at Yonge/Dundas.

There was a green street festival going on on Yonge Street ... they had it closed off from Dundas to Queen. Lots of people out and about.

Jack Astor's was packed but we got a table after a ten minute wait. Yay!

Gord order Beer-Battered Fish and Chips (An old fashioned English recipe. Two haddock fillets, dipped in a beer batter. Served with fries, tartar sauce made from scratch, and fresh lemon.).

He said it was good.

I got the same thing I always get at Jack Astor's ... Chicken Parnigiana (Fresh chicken breast, lightly breaded and topped with smoked Mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. Served with bowtie pasta, tossed in a creamy cheese sauce.).

It was good too!

Beth was our server and, despite it being really busy, she took good care of us.
