The Irish Harp, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Gord and I had supper this evening on the patio of The Irish Harp in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

I had an Irish Boxty with chicken curry and champ and Gord had Corned Beef + Cabbage (beef brisket | braised cabbage | gravy | roasted potatoes). Both were filling and delish.

The Irish Harp, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

After Gord and I left Niagara Falls, we had a late lunch/early supper today at The Irish Harp in Niagara-on-the-Lake.   We've been there a couple times before and like it.

We sat on the sidewalk patio

We shared Pull Apart Garlic Loaf (it was really good and we brought some home).

Gord ordered Guinness Shrimp Tacos, which are now wraps, with no tomatoes and upgraded to onion rings. He said they were really good and he’d get them again.

The Irish Harp, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Gord and I had a late lunch/early supper today at The Irish Harp in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  We've been there a couple times in the past and have had a good time.

We sat on the patio

Gord ordered the Harp Burger with a side of Black and Tan onion rings.  He said it was good and he'd get this meal again.

I ordered Chicken Curry.  The chicken was good but the rice was way overcooked and very mushy.  I let Sandi, our server, and she offered to have new rice made for me or bring me an order of fries.  I declined and said I'd just eat the chicken and bread.  When it came time to pay, she'd taken my meal off our bill.  When I asked her about it, she and the chef agreed the rice was overcooked.

The Irish Harp Pub, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Gord and I had tickets to see a play tonight.  We both found it really boring so left during intermission.

We went to the Irish Harp Pub because there was a Celtic band playing.

The band was Finnigan's Wake and they were really good.  They played Irish, Celtic and East Coast tunes. I'm originally from the East Coast and it was just like being home!

Hopefully they'll play in Toronto sometime!

The servers were friendly and took good care of us.

The Irish Harp, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Gord and I had supper at The Irish Harp, just around the corner from our hotel.

Our drafts tasted good!

We started with garlic bread and cheese.

Gord had Corned Beef & Cabbage ... I found it weird that it came with fries and had gravy.

I had Chicken Curry ... and it was good.

It's a cute fun pub. Katie took good care of us. And I liked that they actually played Irish music.
