The Flatiron: a Firkin Pub, Toronto, ON

My pal, Liz, and I had supper this evening at the Flatiron at Wellington Street E and Church Street.  It's in the basement of the historic Gooderham Building.

You go down the steps to get into the pub.

Liz ordered a Coronation Chicken Wrap.  She said it was good.

After Gord and I left D.W. Alexander, we went across the street to the Flatiron and Firkin for a late supper.

I usually order wings at a Firkin. This evening we both ordered the Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich with mayo, instead of avocado-ranch sauce.  I got mine with lemon potatoes and Gord got his with fries.

Gord and I had a supper tonight at the Flatiron and Firkin.

It's been a while since we've been there.

It was packed but we were able to find a booth in the back. There was a wedding reception near us and they were having a great time!

I ordered wings and fries. I really like their lemon dill dipping sauce.

Gord ordered fish and chips.

Both were good for pub fare.
