Northern Maverick Brewing Co., Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. this evening (on Bathurst Street just north of King Street W).

I had what I always have … Buttermilk Fried Chicken (Battered Ontario Chicken Thighs, House Made Corn Bread, Yukon Gold Fries, Mango Habanero Hot Sauce). It’s a big meal and I took most of it home.

After the Blue Jays game was over, Gord and I had supper at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. this evening (on Bathurst Street just north of King Street W).

Gord built a charcuterie board with two cheeses and two meats. He likes charcuterie boards lately ... that's what he got the last time we were there.

I ordered Buttermilk Fried Chicken and fries.  I really like it ... it seems like that's all I every order there.

Jordan and Ann were our servers ... they was friendly and chatty and took good care of us.

Gord and I had supper on the patio at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. this evening (on Bathurst Street just north of King Street W).

I ordered Buttermilk Fried Chicken and fries.  I've had it a few times there and it's good. It's a big meal and I took a couple pieces of chicken home for my lunch tomorrow.

Gord built a charcuterie board with two cheeses and two meats. He said it was good and he'd get it again.

After our boxing class, Yvette and I went to Northern Maverick Brewing Co. (Bathurst Street, just north of King Street W) for an early supper.

We discovered they have "hoppy hour" specials from 3pm to 6pm on Mondays to Friday. Whoohoo!

Gotta love $5 hoppy hour beer!

I've been craving pizza lately so ordered a Housemade Roman Style Bacon Pizza for $21 (House Cured and Smoked Bacon, Mozzarella Cheese, Tomato Sauce) ... it was okay.

Yvette had hoppy hour $5 specials of Vegan Curry (Chickpeas, Lentils, Spices, Papadum - vegan) and Vegan Pakoras (Zucchinis, Chickpea Flour, Onions, Mango HabaneroSauce, Potatoes). She really liked them.

Gord and I had supper at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. this evening (on Bathurst Street just north of King Street W).

Beer is brewed onsite

Gord ordered Truffled Mushroom Gnocchi.  He'd never had them before (truffles or gnocchi) and he said was delicious.  He was going to take half home to have for lunch tomorrow ... but couldn't resist eating them all.

Gord and I had supper at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. this evening (on Bathurst Street just north of King Street W).

We sat on the patio.  There was a bit of a chill (it was 12C) and there were heaters on the patio to keep us warm.

I liked the raspberry wheat beer.  I'm not a fan of wheat beer and this wasn't very wheaty.

We both ordered Buttermilk Fried Chicken and it was all delicious.  The chicken was boneless.  I'd get it again!

Viewing Party: Toronto Wolfpack vs. St. Helens RFC, Northern Maverick Brewing Co., Toronto, ON

Gord and I had lunch today at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. (on Bathurst Street just north of King Street W) ... they were hosting the viewing party of the Toronto Wolfpack vs. St. Helens RFC game in Warrington.  It was Round five of the 2020 Betfred Super League.  The Wolfpack was last in Super League with no wins or ties and four losses.

There was a good crowd.  The lower level holds about 200 people and it was fairly full with Wolfpack fans ... it's a good thing Gord made reservations!  There was a Wolfpack owner and execs in attendance.

Hailey, Lil, Sher and Brittany

13 ounce lagers were $5.

Gord and I had supper at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. this evening (on Bathurst Street just north of King Street W).  They opened in September and I've been wanting to check them out.

Alas, it was too hot to sit on the patio
You can buy their beer to take home
