Kelly's Pub, St. John's, NL

After the whale and bird tour, Gord and I had a late lunch at Kelly's Pub on George Street.

Despite the light drizzle, we sat on the patio.

I ordered Fish and Chips.  It was delicious!  The batter was so light it was barely there.

Gord ordered a bowl of Seafood Chowder, followed by Pan Fried Cod with a salad.

The chowder had scallops, salmon, calamari, shrimp and cod.  I think he liked it!

He said his cod was good too.

George Street is quite famous and we watched tons of people pose by the sign ... so we couldn't resist as we headed back to our hotel.

Kelly's Pub, St. John's, NL

We had supper at Kelly's Pub & Eatery. What attracted me there was there was a singer.

Sister Sarah recognized him as Con O'Brien from the Irish Descendants. So we stayed for his three sets. Because it's the long weekend, there weren't too many people in the pub so he sat with us and chatted.
