Tunip Island Caribbean Foods, Toronto, ON

I had lunch today at Tunip Island Caribbean Foods (on Jane Street at Trethewey Drive).  I had lunch there a couple years ago and liked it.

I ordered the large jerk chicken plate with jerk chicken, BBQ chicken and rice/peas.  It was good ... the jerk chicken wasn't too spicy and the BBQ chicken was sweet.  The prices have increased while the chicken pieces have gotten smaller, though, since the last time I was there.

I also had a piece of rum cake ... it was too pretty to resist!  It tasted kind of like gingerbread with a touch of rum.  It was good.
