Pinnacle Hotel, Whistler, BC

I spent the last two nights at the Pinnacle Hotel in Whistler Village.

When I arrived, I discovered that I had been upgraded to a deluxe suite.  Sweet!  Here it was ...

I love love love baths and used the jacuzzi both nights
... I'm going to miss it!
My queen bed was comfy!

Here was the view from the window.

The room rate was $119 (plus taxes).  WIFI was included and I found it speedy.  The suite came with a full-sized fridge, stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker, along with everything you would need to make your own meals (dishes, silverware, pots, etc.).  It was nice to be able to open the window and get some fresh mountain air.  They might want to think about adding a sliding screen door ... it would have been nice to have it open a bit during the night but I was afraid of critters coming in.

There is a fitness room and outdoor pool but I didn't check them out ... I went for a long walk to Lost Lake yesterday instead.

Parking was $19/day, underground and accessible via an elevator.

The hotel is in the Village and walkable to tons of restaurants, shopping, gondolas, etc.  Alas, the gondolas aren't running during the week right now (they are running just on the weekends) so I wasn't able to go up on the mountain.

I had stayed here years ago with Gord and would stay here again in the future.
