Milestone's Grill & Bar, Toronto, ON (John Street)

After Gord and I left the Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival, we walked to Milestone's (on John Street) for supper.  We sat on the patio.

Sister Sarah had given us a gift certificate for there for our anniversary and we used it.

When we had walked by earlier on our way to the beer festival, they were giving our coupons ... a Bellini and an appetizer for $10.  So we used the coupons.

Here are our Bellinis ... it's been a while since I've had one.

For his appetizer, Gord ordered the Crispy Phyllo Shrimp ... he said they were delicious.

I ordered the Crispy Asian Chicken Bites ... they were really spicy and good.

For his main, Gord ordered Haddock & Frites.  It was good ... what a lot of food, though.  He wasn't able to finish it.

I ordered Prime Rib (medium well).  The potatoes were good and the meat was okay (it was kind of gristley).  I wasn't expecting the appetizer to be so big so I ate the prime rib and a bit of potatoes ... and then I was full.

Sarah was our server and she was friendly.

Thanks, Sister Sarah, for the gift certificate!

Mmm, Milestones is a foolproof place to have dinner. I love their bellinis and have a collection of those little animal toppers building up. I've had the chicken bites and I really liked them.

I love their Bellini's (the mojito is quite good too!).Like Kat said, it's a great place for dinner. We like to take my in-laws here as there's always something for my mother-in-law (with her special diet) to enjoy.
