Mercer Hall, Stratford, ON

Gord and I had supper this evening at Mercer Hall on Ontario Street.  We've never been there ... they recently renovated and we liked what we saw.

It was raining when we got there so we sat inside rather than on the patio.  When we left, the sun was shining.

The music was good

They have a great selection of beer!

Gord and I both ordered the buttermilk chicken (three pieces).

Gord got his with potato salad.

I swapped my potato salad for fries.

The chicken was delicious.  In fact, Gord ate his and then was trying to bum one of my pieces.  No way!  The biscuit was yummy too ... there seemed to be butter infused in it.  Gord said the potato salad was good, as were my fries, especially with the dipping sauce that had a bit of heat.

Myron was our server.  He was friendly and knowledgeable.
