I had a seminar to conduct this morning in St. Thomas (about 2.5 hours SW of Toronto) and I spent last night at the Comfort Inn. It's the only hotel in St. Thomas and I stayed here a few years ago.
Here was my room ...
A continental breakfast was included but I didn't get a chance to check it out. There are no restaurants within walking distance as this hotel on the outskirts of town (there are tons of restaurants downtown) so I went out and got some take-out pizza and brought it back to my room last night.
Parking was free as was WIFI (it was quick). The rooms are nothing fancy but my queen bed was comfy. I had a mini fridge, Keurig coffee machine and or microwave oven.
I was on the second floor and as a head's up, there was no elevator. There is construction going on (they are renovating the lobby and entrance way) so you have to go in through the side door.
