The James Hotel, Saskatoon, SK

I spent last night in Saskatoon and stayed downtown at the James Hotel.

Apparently this used to be a condo building and was converted to a hotel.  Here was my room (it seems liked I was upgraded to a studio suite) ...

The bed was very comfy!
I used the tub last night ... it was deep!

Every room has a balcony.

My view yesterday afternoon

It was raining and cold yesterday so I spent 45 minutes on the treadmill in the fitness room.

The room had complementary bottled water (always appreciated!), WIFI (it was speedy) and parking.  There was a Keurig in-room brewer with coffee, hot chocolate and tea, and an in-room safe in the closet.  There is a mini-fridge stocked with pop and alcohol and treats (cookies, nuts, etc.) ... you pay for what you use.  There is a bar in the lobby and the hotel is attached to the Sheraton next door, which has three restaurants.  There are lots of restaurants within walking distance.

There was also a complimentary full hot breakfast ($18 if you are a non-guest) with waffles, eggs, sausages, potatoes, ham, muffins, croissants, etc.  There was also a chef who will make you an omelette.  I went with ready-made scrambled eggs and turkey ham and a couple plates of fresh fruit.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.  It's my first time staying there and I'd stay here again.

The James Hotel is probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in, anywhere, hands down!
