Lone Star Texas Grill, Hamilton, ON

Gord and I drove to Hamilton this afternoon to see Flight with his son, Ken.

Whip Whitaker, a seasoned airline pilot, miraculously crash lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe, saving nearly every soul on board. After the crash, Whip is hailed as a hero, but as more is learned, more questions than answers arise as to who or what was really at fault and what really happened on that plane? (Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Melissa Leo, Bruce Greenwood, Kelly Reilly, and John Goodman)

This was a good movie.  I like Denzel Washington and he did a good job playing an alcoholic drug addicted pilot.  Whip is a hero because he managed to land the plane.  There is an investigation to determine whether it was pilot error or a malfunction on the plane.  Needless to say this causes Whip a lot of stress since he was drunk and stoned when he flew the plane.  We gave it 7/10.

After the movie, we had an early supper at the Lone Star Texas Grill.

They started us off with yummy chips.

Gord ordered a Chicken Chimichanga and I got a burrito (minus the guacamole and sour cream).

Here is Gord's chimichanga.  He enjoyed it.

Here is my burrito ... it was good and really filling.  I just ate the burrito and rice and left the rest.

Ken ordered a burger.

He didn't eat all of his burger and was going to take it home ... but then forgot it at the restaurant

Here are Ken and Gord.

And here we are ... me, Ken and Gord.

The restaurant was dark so it was hard to take better pictures.

Tumble (they are assigned western names) was our server and she took excellent care of us.
