Book ~ "The Everything Air Fryer Cookbook: 300 Easy and Delicious Recipes for Your Favorite Foods!" (2018) Michelle Fagone

From Goodreads ~ The air-fryer is an easy, healthier alternative to conventional fryers, and it’s quickly becoming the latest kitchen must-have!

"The Everything Air Fryer Cookbook" teaches you all you need to know about this hot new appliance, proving that fryers can be used for so much more than French fries and onion rings.

With more than 300 quick and tasty recipes - including vegetarian and vegan options, as well as classic favorites like fried pickles and jalapeño poppers - there’s an air fried meal for every taste, diet, and mood. Whether you’re looking for an easy breakfast dish, a scrumptious snack, or a delicious dinner for the whole family, you can find it in "The Everything Air Fryer Cookbook".

Gord and I received an air fryer as a Christmas gift in December.  We liked it so much that we bought a second one.  Since then, I've been looking for fun things to cook in it.

The content of this book includes an introduction with air fryer essentials ... what is an air fryer, when purchasing an air fryer, accessories, oil, tips and cleaning your air fryer.

The recipe sections are:
  • Breakfast
  • Breads and baked goods
  • Appetizers and snacks
  • Chips and fries
  • Poultry main dishes
  • Beef and bison main dishes
  • Pork and lamb main dishes
  • Fish and seafood main dishes
  • Vegetarian and vegan dishes
  • Side dishes
  • Sandwiches
  • One-pot wonders
  • Desserts
  • Sauces and dips

There were lots of delicious sounding recipes that didn't sound too hard that I would like to try.  There are full-colour pictures of some of the recipes in the back of the book (it would been nice to have a picture of all of them).  I read this book on my iPad and it was formatted well for it.

I liked there were tips ... like how to avoid your air fryer smoking when you're cooking (put water in the bottom of your fryer), making crumbs, what coulis is, how to separate chicken wings, etc.

I liked too that nutrition was provided ... calories. amount of fat, protein, carbs, etc.

Here is a sample recipe that had a picture ...
