Let's grow some flowers!

I'm not a gardener.  We have a 190 square foot terrace so there's not a lot of space anyway.

Over the last few years, though, I've gotten some flower seeds.  Every spring I plan to plant them ... and then I forget!

Yesterday I remembered them so the first thing I did this morning was get at it.

I have some from Nabob, Beech Nut and Loose Button.

I have a long planter so filled it with soil.  Then I laid the cards with the seeds on the soil, as per the instructions.  I mixed them up a bit for variety.

I put soil on top of them.

Then I watered.  Our terrace is still being repaired so I put the planter on a chair in the sun for now (I'll move it to the top of the wall when the railing is put back).

It should be interesting to see what the results are.

Good for you! I'm not a big gardener either (I think the plants shy away because they know I have a black thumb LOL), but one day I'd love to try my hand at it :)

I can't wait to see how it turns out. I bought some seeds for the planters we have but never got around to getting the planters ready.
