Gord and I walked to
Kensington Market and checked out Graffiti's Bar & Grill ... we'd never been there before.
It's a small but cute place ... we sat at the bar.
Kitgut Stringband was playing and they were really good. On their
Facebook page, they describe themselves as an oldtime stringband ... they sounded bluegrass with some Celtic reels thrown in. Apparently they play there every Wednesday night. Two fiddles, a guitar, a stand-up bass guitar and a banjo ... great combination!
You've got to love a place that has a Nova Scotia flag above the bar ... I'm from Nova Scotia and apparently the owner of the bar is too.
