This evening the Toronto Alumni Chapter held an event for alumni, friends and family (Gord came as my guest) ... there were almost 80 in attendance.
It started with drinks and appetizers at the Loose Moose . There were pitchers of Keiths draft and platters of sliders, chicken wings, spring rolls, nacho chips, veggies, etc. Yum! It was a good chance to meet other alumni.
There was lots of loud and lively mingling ... the room was dark so it was hard to get decent pictures.
|Oh oh ... an empty pitcher!|
Then we headed off to the Blue Jays game.
Our seats were in the 500 level, just above third base. We arrived during the second inning ... the Toronto Blue Jays were playing the L.A. Angels.
The roof was open and the sky had some great colours! As the night went on, it was a bit cool.
Here are the Blue Jays up at bat ...
Here is the view from our seats ... the Blue Jays have no hope in making the play-off and there were a lot of empty seats.
Here's our group ...
Alas, the Angels beat the Blue Jays 4 - 3.
It was a fun night. Thanks to the Alumni Committee for organizing such a fun event and I look forward to attending lots more!
