Pogue Mahone, Toronto, ON

I celebrated St. Patrick's Day at lunch today with the Toronto Social Seniors and Retirees group at Pogue Mahone Pub on College Street (between Yonge Street and Bay Street).

In honour of St. Patrick’s Day, I had a green Keith’s.

There were 18 of us!

I had a pepperoni pizza (pepperoni, tomato sauce and olive oil). Their dough is Poolish. Poolish was a technique used by Polish bakers in the 19th century. It’s a pre-fermented dough similar to sour dough. It was good and half went home with me.
