Knitted Scarf

I knitted another scarf to donate. I found the picture of the pattern in a knitting Facebook group and the name of it wasn't included.

I used a Caron Anniversary Cake Special Edition (the colour is Merry Maximus) and 6.5mm needles.

It's knitted in multiples of 4 stitches plus 1 stitch. I cast on 23 stitches (includes 3 stitches on either side for the borders).
  • Row 1 and all wrong side rows: purl all sts.
  • Row 2 - right side: K1, * sl 3 wyif, k1; rep from * to end.
  • Row 4: K1, * sl 3 wyif, k1; rep from * to end.
  • Row 6: K2, * k1 uls, k3; rep from * to last 3 sts, k1 uls, k2.
  • Row 8: K3, * sl 3 wyif, k1; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2.
  • Row 10: K3, * sl 3 wyif, k1; rep from * to last 2, k2.
  • Row 12: K4, *k1 uls, k3; rep from * to last st, k1.
Knit to the length you want and bind off.

SL wyf: Slip stitch purlwise with yarn in front
K1 uls: Knit 1 under loose strands - insert needle under the loose strands and knit the next stitch
