First up was No Vowels presents Small Town Famous (Cait Chapman, Elizabeth Glenn, Bronwyn Keough and Haley Moriarity).

SHOW DESCRIPTION: No Vowels may be big on the Rock but in Toronto they're nobody - until now. After a breakout performance at NL Sketchfest 2024, followed by an award-winning run at Halifax Fringe, No Vowels has finally made it to the Big Smoke. Small Town Famous is a love letter to their real-life friendship and showcases some of their greatest hits and fan-favorite sketches from their catalogue. Just ask anyone in Newfoundland about us being hometown sensations. We're huge, we SWEAR!! Strap in for a taste of their east coast charm, a couple of wig changes, and maybe a little tiny bit of bloodshed (it's fake, don't worry!).

TROUPE BIO: What do you get when you’re at a sleepover and the vibes are off but your mom won’t pick up the phone? The self-proclaimed girly pops of the improv scene, Elizabeth, Cait, Bronwyn and Haley, started No Vowels in 2017 as plucky new-kids-on-the-block, looking to share laughs across their hometown St. John’s, and have since produced dozens of unique shows. Initially launching as an improv collective, they’ve performed both short and long-form improv in the style of radio shows, campfire nights (with real fire!), in their serialized teen melodrama Misty Hills, and have eaten their fair share of lemons live on stage.

In 2024, they dove into the world of sketch comedy with their debut show, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, premiering at the inaugural Newfoundland and Labrador Sketch Festival. Following the show's crowd-pleasing success, they travelled to Halifax Fringe for an award-winning run. They recently brought their second sketch project to the stage, Sophomore Slump, at the 2025 NL Sketch Fest. No Vowels is rooted in their love for community, and enjoys sharing the spotlight and collaborating with fellow comedy groups, most recently teaming up with the hometown favourite, Mom’s Girls. Known for their sweet yet lowkey unsettling nature, they’re excited to bring some classic East Coast charm to Toronto.

SHOW DESCRIPTION: Legally Brown presents: Corporate CULTure! A 30-minute sketch show that follows four unforgettable employees of Brown & Co. Watch as: Linda (seasoned Executive Assistant), Bria (enigmatic Social Media Manager), Sandra (possible extraterrestrial Marketing Head), and Sonia (nurturing Finance Director) navigate office chaos, personal turmoil, and existential dread after receiving a cryptic email from the Big Boss. It's The Office, meets women of colour! It's a show full of pop culture references and cultural commentary - a Legally Brown specialty. Directed by Sara Peters.

TROUPE BIO: We're Legally Brown, a Toronto-based sketch troupe featuring four women of colour. Prior to us forming, each one of us was seeking a community to nurture our artistic ambitions. What began as a writing circle (and often became group therapy sessions) evolved into a collective rooted in laughter and accountability. In our debut year, we performed at Comedy Bar, The Annex Hotel, Nia Centre for the Arts and in TOSketchFest ‘25!

Legally Brown features Saba Akhtar, Yazmin Butcher, Jacqueline Ashton, and Kirthiga Rajanayagam. Together, we bring over 10 years of experience as directors, writers, actors, and producers. Saba is a queer Pakistani-Muslim improviser who trained at Second City's Conservatory and Bad Dog Theatre, and hosted and produced the CSA-nominated docu-series Pride. Yazmin, a Jamaican-Trinidadian queer comedian, writer and actor, has performed stand-up with Dave Merheje, Courtney Gilmour, and Chris Robinson, and trained in clown at Sweet Action Theatre. Jacqueline, a Jamaican-British improviser, writer and actor, completed Second City's Conservatory in March 2025 and interned as Story Coordinator for a procedural drama writer's room for OYA Media. Earlier this year both Yazmin and Jacqueline participated in the development room for Anthony Q. Farrell's sketch show "These Triggas.” Kirthiga, a Tamil-Canadian producer, writer, and actor trained at Armstrong and Lighthouse Acting Studios, was an associate producer in Reza Dahya's Boxcutter (AIFF '24), on Apple TV's The Changeling, and most recently, produced the DOC NYC 2025 selected documentary short, That Which Is Heard.

We're passionate about pop culture and comedy with purpose. Drawing inspiration from Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Baroness Von Sketch, Key and Peele, and Black Lady Sketch Show, we use humour to voice our lived experiences, grief, and daily struggles. Legally Brown was born from our shared experiences as "that diversity hire" and our determination to flip the script on how things are done!

Both were funny!
