Cavalcade of Lights, Toronto, ON

I volunteered tonight with the City of Toronto for the opening of Cavalcade of Lights at City Hall, which goes until January 7. I was a performance assistant to the strolling stilt walkers, which was fun.

I got there a bit early (my shift was from 6pm to 10pm) and walked around a bit.

I checked in and got my hat and, vest and accreditation.

Here we are getting ready to start strolling. They were very popular and everyone was taking pictures and wanting their pictures taken with them.

Dr. Draw along with NorthFIRE Circus entertained on the main stage entertainers.

During my break, I walked around ... lots to see!

Juno Award nominee Tyler Shaw was the last performer on the main stage ... a festive ending!

The Who Gives A Crap booth was giving out two free rolls of toilet paper (it’s made from recycled fibres or bamboo) at the Cavalcade of Lights tonight at City Hall. I got in line and got two rolls! Volunteers of the Cavalcade of Lights were given a roll when we checked out of our shift. Whoohoo!
