A bus picked us up at our hotel at 8:30am and took us to our catamaran.
Our guide gave us the rules and then got the party started.
The netting over the water was a popular spot.

The boat ride was more than an hour and it was nice to be out on the water. There was snorkeling if you were so inclined (I wasn't).
There were lots of boats like ours out.
A buffet lunch was on the island Cayo Blanco.
There was lots of variety in the buffet, including lobster and shrimp (I'm not a seafood fan so had chicken).

We had three hours on the island before the boat took us back to Varadero. After lunch, Sister Sarah and I spent most of it in the water. The sand was like powder and the water was clean, warm and gorgeous!
Alas, we did eventually have to leave.
It was a fun day and a trip that I would recommend.

Please bring back some warm water get. It was -22 in the nations capital today.
