Jack Astor's Bar & Grill, Toronto, ON (Front Street)

After the Rock game, Gord and I had supper at Jack Astor's (Front/University).

It was loud, busy and stuffy inside so we sat outside on the patio.  It was 15C and there were lots of heaters.

Our beer tasted good!

Gord ordered Crispy Honey Sesame Chicken.

I snagged a piece of his chicken and it was good.  He said he'd order it again.

I ordered what I always order ... Chicken Parm.

I despise parm cheese and Sam, our server, assured me there would be no parm cheese on it.  Guess what? There was parm cheese on the pasta so I sent it back.  It was delicious when it came back the second time.

Sam was friendly and took good care of us.

I love that Jack Astors! Haven't been in a while though.

The crispy chicken looks good. I think I had the chicken parm way back and thought it was ok. The last time I went to a Jack Astors, I had their jerk pork. I'd advise against it.

Another super busy weekend for you. Lucky you sitting outside. Not so nice weather wise here.
