Since Chatham is a three hour drive from Toronto, I drove here this afternoon and am staying the night at the Holiday Inn Express.Here's my room ... two beds just for me!!
I stay in a lot of hotels and here's something I've never encountered before.
The bathrooms in hotel rooms always have shampoo, condition, soap, etc. Here there's just a cheap crappy soap and a shower cap. I would have expected more from this world-wide chain.
The hotel is undergoing major renovations. There's a lot of construction on the hotel property ... buildings are getting knocked down.
Just behind the hotel are tracks complete with smelly trains that aren't moving but are running (my room looks out at them).

The room looks nice based on the photos (your hotel rooms always look nice!) but sad to hear about the smell and lack of shampoo!
hmmm looks like they are putting their efforts into the build instead and missing the small but important things. room looks great though
