The Rhino, Toronto, ON

It was such a nice sunny day today ... our first thought was to find a patio to have a beer!

We walked to the Rhino on Queen Street W.

I like the Rhino because they have a great beer selection and the food is cheap.

There's Gord on the patio in the back ... everyone was trying to stay in the sun.

And here we are ...

The service, though, always sucks. Our server took a looooooooooong time to get us our second beer. Plus we waited for 50 minutes for nachos.

Great day to be outside!

It looks like a BEAUTIFUL Day.....But to wait so long for lousy Nacho's.....UGH!!!!

There used to be a WONDERFUL Restaurant here in Los Angeles called EL JARITTO----a family run business---They had the BEST BEST BEST Nacho's I have ever tasted....Sadly, The Recesssion did them in, after 70 or more years, in business! MORE THAN SAD, SAD, SAD.

Its both comforting and sad to know the Rhino has still not changed. I remember being there a couple years ago - there were only three of us there and we still had a hard time flagging down a server. Part of me can't believe the Rhino still exists.- Monica

That's a beautiful looking building! I love that they use the old buildings instead of tearing them down. That's one thing that I love about Winnipeg, there are so many great looking old buildings downtown that are in use.

Wow - those are some sad sad looking nachos.

Someone once recommended the wings at the Rhino but I haven't had a chance to go.
