Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Lethbridge, AB

I spent Monday to last night at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Lethbridge.

The lobby

There was a pool and a fitness room next to the lobby, which I didn't get a chance to use.

When I checked in, I'd asked if my room had a tub (I love baths!).  It didn't but the receptionist upgraded me to a room with a jacuzzi and a fireplace for free.  That was sooooooo nice of her!  Here was my room ... it was HUGE!

I loved the tub!
The bed was comfy

My room had a mini fridge, a microwave (handy since I'd brought popcorn), a Keurig coffee maker, etc.  WIFI, breakfast and parking were complimentary.

The hotel is downtown so walkable to lots of restaurants, shopping, etc.

I had issues with two things, though.  The WIFI, though free, was very sketchy and kept cutting out so was non-existent.  Since I needed it to work, I found this extremely annoying and ended up using my phone as a hotspot.  The water pressure in the shower was pathetic.  I tried adjusting the showerhead but when I did that, the water pressure got worse and was reduced to a dribble.  I was showering at 4:30am so it's not as if there was a big demand on the water at that time of day.

So if you don't need to use the Internet or shower, this would be a good spot to stay.  For me, though, these are things that are a must.
