St. Lucia - Wednesday

After a busy day yesterday, Sister Sarah and I spent a quiet relaxing day on the resort.

We spent the morning at the beach.  The temperature was 30C (but felt like 34C).

We had lunch at the Bamboo, which is right next to the beach.

There was a buffet featuring East Indian dishes.

Here's my lunch ... beef vindaloo (it was spicy),
butter chicken, saffron rice and poppadom ... yum!

Then we spent the afternoon at the pool.  While Sister Sarah socialized in the pool bar, I dozed in my lounger.  Sweet!

We had supper at the Tree Tops Pizza and Pasta Restaurant ... we'd been there on Sunday and liked it.

Sister Sarah had a pizza again ... pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes.

I had lasagna ... it was delicious.

We both had dessert.  Sister Sarah had a Knickerbocker.

I had creme brulee with peppermint cream.  It was good.

The entertainment tonight was a steel drum band.  They were excellent and played song by Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, etc.

Then limbo dancers came on and danced.  They had people in the audience go on stage to do it.

Then they added fire to their act.

The girls were putting fire out with their mouths
This woman in the audience wanted to try it
This guy would fill his mouth with gas and then blow ... crazy!

The steel band came back on to finish off the night.

It was another fun day!
