It was sunny and -2C (-8C with the windchill) this afternoon ... and the beach beckoned us.
Gord and I headed to
Kew-Balmy Beach (a 50 minute streetcar ride away on the east side of Toronto). We got off the streetcar just west of Kew Gardens and walked south to the beach.

We headed east on the boardwalk. There were lots of people out and about, some with dogs.
It was cold and brisk but refreshing.

Gord said he saw someone swimming in the water ... brrrrr!
Dogs didn't seem to mind. |

It was a great day for a walk ... Gord and I had never been there before.

Sometimes, when I am dressed appropriately, I really enjoy the beach in the winter.
It's beautiful at the beach!
Your photos are getting better and better - I think you're more than a novice photographer!

Very pretty. But man that water must have cold!!!
I can’t imagine seeing ice in the beach, although I have seen some one winter day. It was a drive from the self storage to another client’s place and just couldn’t believe that there was ice almost everywhere!
