Ridge Rib Knitted Scarf

I knitted a scarf to donate using a ridge rib pattern that I found here.

I used a Caron Anniversary Cake Special Edition (the colour is Frosted Fairytail) and 6.5mm needles

I cast on 22 stitches (a multiple of 3 plus 1 plus 6 for the edges).

Knit 3 rows. I followed this pattern, knitting 3 stitches at the beginning and the end of each row for an outside border.

• Row 1 (RS): Knit. 
• Row 2 (WS): Purl. 
• Row 3: K1, *P2, K1; rep from * to end. 
• Row 4: P1, *K2, P1; rep from * to end. 
• Rep Rows 1 - 4.

Knit 3 rows and bind off.
