I made Mulligatawny Soup from a Mitchell’s Soup Company
mix (they are in St. Thomas, ON) for supper this evening.
Almost everything is in the mix. All I had to add was cooked chicken (I added chicken breast), onion, carrots and tart apples. I got it started around 4pm and let it simmer for a couple hours.
I’ve never had Mulligatawny soup so didn’t know what to expect. My only reference for it is the Seinfeld
episode (that’s why I ordered it ... ha!).
Ta-da! It was really good and hearty! There was a bit of heat and the apples still had a nice crunch. There's tons left over! Yay!
