NODO Liberty, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had brunch with friends at NODO Liberty in Liberty Village today. It was fun to see everyone and catch up. Thanks, Shumaila, for organizing us!

Gord ordered Eggs Benedict and wasn’t crazy about it ... he said the eggs weren’t cooked properly and had a funny taste and the peameal bacon seemed more like sausage.

I ordered Nutella & Strawberry pancakes, as did Dawn. They looked fun but were a disappointment. Considering strawberry is in the name of the meal, the amount of strawberry was a joke (it seemed like we had one strawberry between us!) and the pancakes were cold and dense. When we mentioned it to our server, she said that’s the way the chef makes them. Neither of us finished them and the manager deducted half the cost from our bills. 

This is my second visit and my second less than stellar meal. I won't be back.
