I ordered a Halifax Donair (house made donair [pork, veal, beef)], Halifax donair sauce, tomato, warm pita). It was good … a bit peppery, though. There was a donair sauce on the side which was handy because there wasn’t enough on the donair.
Gord ordered a Cove Style Lobster Roll (knuckle & claw lobster meat, herb mayonnaise, red onion, lemon zest, brioche roll with garlic butter) and he said it was good.
Reilly was our server and she was friendly and chatty and took excellent care of us. She surprised Gord with key lime pie for his birthday.
