Corned Beef House, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had lunch this afternoon at the Corned Beef House (John Street/Adelaide W) ... it's our favourite place for corned beef and Montreal smoked meat sandwiches.

We were hungry so got a gigantic corned beef sandwich and a gigantic Montreal smoked meat sandwich on light rye ... as usual, we had half of each.  And as usual, they were delicious!

Gord and I had supper this evening at the Corned Beef House (John Street/Adelaide W) before the Toronto Blue Jays' home opener.  It's our favourite place for corned beef and Montreal smoked meat sandwiches.  It's been a while since I've been there so I was due!

We got a skinny corned beef sandwich and a skinny Montreal smoked meat sandwich on light rye ... as usual, we had half of each.  And as usual, they were delicious!

Before Gord and I went to the Blue Jays game this evening, we met at the Corned Beef House (Adelaide Street W/John Street) for supper.

We've been there many times and it never disappoints us.

We ordered what we always order ... a huge corned beef sandwich and a huge smoked meat sandwich ("huge" is their smallest size) on light rye with regular mustard ... and then we have a half of each.

Corned Beef House, Toronto, ON

After Gord and I saw Goon, we went around the corner to the Corned Beef House for supper.

They make amazing sandwiches and we hadn't been there since last February.

It's nice on the inside.

I ordered the "gigantic" 10 ounce corned beef sandwich on light rye.

Gord ordered the "gigantic" 10 ounce Montreal smoked meat sandwich on light rye.

Like the last time, we gave each other half ... and like the last time, they were delicious!

There is so much meat ... here's Gord tackling his.

We learned that last time that because the sandwiches are so big, there is no need to order anything else (like French fries, potato salad, etc.).

Jermaine took excellent care of us ... he was nice and chatty and played excellent tunes (oldies).

Corned Beef House, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper at the Corned Beef House this evening.

This is our second time at the Corned Beef House, the first time since they moved to a new location (Adelaide W/John) last year.

Here is Gord by the entrance.

I ordered the 10 ounce corned beef sandwich on light rye.

Gord ordered the 10 ounce Montreal smoked meat sandwich on light rye.

Then we gave each other half a sandwich so we each had both. They were delicious! They both had a nice spicy taste and the corned beef was so tender.

Foolishly we both ordered French fries ... which we didn't come close to finishing. Next time I'll remember that with the "gigantic" sandwiches, fries aren't needed.

I managed to finish my sandwich and was so full ... but it was so good!

It's definitely a place you want to check out if you are downtown and are hungry.
