The 3 Brewers Restaurant Micro-Brewery, Toronto, ON (Yonge Street)

Gord and I had supper at 3 Brewers on Yonge Street (just south of  Dundas Street) this afternoon.

Gord had a Lloise Flammekueche (caramelized onions, smoked bacon, sautéed mushrooms, swiss and mozzarella cheeses, baked on traditional flatbread with their famous Flamm sauce) and took half home for lunch tomorrow. I had burger sliders. Yum!

Gord and I had a late lunch at 3 Brewers.

Twenty years ago, a family of brewers decided to revive the traditions of the past that were deeply rooted in three generations of their family – thus the name The 3 Brewers – “three” for three generations of brewing tradition. The 3 Brewers opened its very first microbrewery restaurant in Place de la Gare à Lille in 1986. Since then operations have expanded to 28 locations in France as well as several restaurants in other parts of the world including Quebec and Ontario.

Gord had a wheat ale and I had a blonde ale.

I had the Italian Flamm ...

And Gord had the Smoked Meat Flamm ...

They are similar to a pizza but without sauce.

Help yourself to some peanuts!

Here's Gord outside the restaurant.

The 3 Brewers Restaurant Micro-Brewery, Toronto, ON (Yonge Street)

The 3 Brewers opened on Yonge Street in June so we checked it out. They brew their own beer onsite. And you know how much Gord loves beer!

Gord started with the Et Cetera ... a sample of blond ale, red ale, dark ale and wheat ale. What fun!

He liked the blonde ale the best and stuck with it. I liked their blonde ale.

We moved to a table next to the window after a while ... great for people watching, especially on Yonge Street!
