The Strath Pub, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper before the Toronto Rock game this evening at The Strath Pub (in the basement of the Strathacona Hotel at York/King W).  We've been there many times and like it.

The Strath Pub, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper before the Toronto Rock game this evening at The Strath Pub (in the basement of the Strathacona Hotel at York/King W).  Roger and his dad, Ben, went to the game with us and met us at the pub.

Gord ordered lemon pepper wings with a side Caesar salad.  He really liked the wings.

Roger and Ben ordered a burger and fries.  They said their meal was good and both finished everything.

There were some decorations for St. Patrick's Day on the tables.

Yes, Gord has it on his head!

Before the Toronto Rock game this evening, Gord and I met Roger and his dad, Ben, for supper at The Strath Pub, in the basement of the Strathacona Hotel (York/King W) (Gord and Roger work together).

It's been a while since we'd been there.

I've only had wings there.  This evening I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Crunch sandwich without lettuce and no slaw.

The Strath Pub, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper tonight at The Strath Pub, in the basement of the Strathacona Hotel (York/King W). It's been a while since we'd been there.

We got there about 5:45pm and it was packed with suits, Go Trainers and fans heading to the Toronto Rock game (like us).

I ordered what I usually get there ... Frank's chicken wings and fries.

The wings were okay, not great. The fries were cold so I asked for new ones. The carrots weren't fresh. My meal had obviously been waiting for Gord's.

Gord ordered the Buffalo Chicken Crunch ... he's had it before.

He said it was okay ... he said the Thousand Island dressing was overwhelming.

Joanna, our server, took good care of us.

The Pub reminds me of a legion ... comfy and not fancy.
