The Dominion House Tavern, Windsor, ON

The Dominion House Tavern (on Sandwich Street), built before 1850, is the oldest remaining continuously run tavern in the Windsor-Detroit Border region and one of the oldest in Ontario. Gord and I had read Genevieve Graham's novel Bluebird and her characters went there during prohibition. We both like history so we wanted to check it out.

What a fun spot! The band was good and everyone was friendly.
