Granite Brewery, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had a late lunch this afternoon at the Granite Brewery (Eglinton E/Mount Pleasant) with Craig and Wendy, Alfred and Christine, and Kevin and Rosemary.  Gord, Craig, Alfred and Kevin have been friends for about 60 years!

My Ringberry Ale (raspberry blonde beer) was good!

Gord had Fish and Chips (haddock in the Granite’s own Ringwood ale batter served with fresh cut fries, a side of coleslaw and tartar sauce). It was a big meal! The fish and fries were good.

I had the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner (two marinated charbroiled chicken skewers on a bed of basmati rice with Greek salad, warm pita bread and tzatziki) but without the salad. It was good too.

And here we are!

Craig, Kevin, Alfred, Gord
Me, Christine, Rosemary and Wendy

Judy was our server and she took good care of us.

Gord and I met friends for supper tonight at the Granite Brewery. The guys have known each since they were about nine years old ... so 46 years! Wow! They get together a couple times a month for supper.

Here's Gord, me, Christine, Alfred on the left side ... and Kevin, Rosemary, Craig and Wendy on the right.

It was good to see them and catch up.

Gord loves beer.

After seeing Tropic Thunder, we went to Granite Brewery (Eglinton/Mount Pleasant).

We tried a few of the drafts on tap. I liked the Ringwood Ale the best and Gord like the Peculiar.

In fact, he liked the Peculiar so much that he bought a growler of it.
