Gord and I stopped in at the The Painted Lady (on Ossington Avenue, at Dundas Street W) this evening.

Dylan Hennessy was playing cover songs and original tunes.

The Painted Lady, Toronto, ON

The City has allowed The Painted Lady (on Ossington Avenue, at Dundas Street W) to expand their patio onto the street and we sat at a table on the patio.  We had to sign in when we arrived.

Maria, our server, made the Trashy Sangria sounds like fun ... and it was!  It's not fancy or stylish but it was refreshing, especially considering how hot it was outside.  Yum!

Maria was really friendly and chatty and took good care of us.

The Elmer Ferrer Band, The Painted Lady, Toronto, ON

After the Havana Club Public Master Class, Gord and I went to the Painted Lady where the Elmer Ferrer Band was playing, also as part of the Havana Cultura Festival.

Elmer Ferrer brought electric guitar to the Cuban masses and now he's coming to Toronto. You can experience the music and the bar top Cuban dancers at The Painted Lady.

We ordered mojitos, which were delicious!

Here's the band ...

There were quite a few people from the rum class who showed up there too, including Luis, Fernando and Damien.
