Bobby O'Brien's Irish Pub, Kitchener, ON

I arrived in Kitchener this evening and I'm here 'til Friday (I'm here for a conference).

I felt like hitting a pub for supper so went to Bobby O'Brien's Irish Pub, which is a couple blocks from my hotel.  Gord and I had been here in July 2010 and enjoyed it.

I ordered garlic bread with cheese and wings with Frank's Buffalo.

The garlic bread was good.  The bread was soft with lots of butter and cheese.
The wings were good too ... just the right amount of heat
There were eight wings to a pound and they were a good size.

It was fairly quiet when I got there just before 7pm.

Bobby O'Brien's Irish Pub, Kitchener, ON

After we left the rib and beer fest, we stopped at Bobby O'Brien's Irish Pub for a late supper.

We were happy to discover that appetizers are half price on Saturday nights. We both got the Dublin Sampler (a little of everything ... veggie sticks, 10 wings, nachos and cheese, garlic bread and classic antojitos).

Not bad for $6.50! And rum 'n Diet Cokes were less than $5 each!

It was a lot of food and Gord took the antojitos home for a snack for tomorrow.

We'd been sitting outside all day so thought it would be cooler to sit inside. The patio in front is big and looks like fun!

There is a volleyball court with sand next to it.

Here's Gord as we were leaving with his antojitos.

Then we went to the train station to head for home.
