Mercer Hall, Stratford, ON

Gord and I had lunch today on the patio at Mercer Hall in Stratford.

He had Mijikai Maki (crispy hamachi tuna sushi roll, togarashi aioli, teriyaki sauce tobiko, pickled ginger, wasabi) for the first time ever and Apricot Glazed Japanese-style Cheescake with seasonal fruit compote, which he enjoyed.

I had lunch today at Mercer Hall in Stratford. When I got there, the patio was empty and the weather was iffy so I sat inside. When I left, the patio was jammed.

I had the 2 piece Buttermilk Fried Chicken meal (chicken tossed in nori salt, chili buttered biscuit, fries and togarashi aioli). It came out within minutes and was hot hot hot. It was good and a lot of food so a piece of chicken is coming home with me for supper later.

Gord and I had lunch today at Mercer Hall on Ontario Street. It was so nice to sit on a sunny warm patio.

I had Buttermilk Fried Chicken (I got the two piece meal and it was a lot of food) and Gord had a Mercer Classic Burger and fries. Both were really good.

Gord and I had supper this evening at Mercer Hall on Ontario Street.  We've never been there ... they recently renovated and we liked what we saw.

It was raining when we got there so we sat inside rather than on the patio.  When we left, the sun was shining.

The music was good
