Elephant & Castle Pub and Restaurant, Winnipeg, MB

I had supper this evening at Elephant & Castle ... it is in the ground floor of the Delta Hotel on St. Mary Street.

I ordered Butter Chicken.  It looked good and the sauce was delicious ... except there wasn't a lot of chicken.  Alas, it was mostly sauce with some small pieces of chicken.

I conducted three seminars this morning back-to-back-to-back and then conducted 15 minute one-on-ones all afternoon.  It was good day and I helped a lot of people get on track for their retirement.  Yay me!

I was exhausted when I got back to my room (about 6pm) and was tempted to order room service.  I decided to go out for supper instead at the Elephant & Castle ... it is in the ground floor of the Delta Hotel on St. Mary Street.

The restaurant was half-full.

Nothing on the menu appealed to me so I ordered the New York Strip Steak, medium-well.

I didn't want any veggies or mushrooms so they gave me extra mashed potatoes ... there were a lot of potatoes!

The potatoes were really good but I couldn't eat them all.  The steak was overwell-done and charred in places ... it was dry inside and not very juicy. 

Nadine was my server. She was very friendly and she took care of me.
