I stopped in at King Slice (Queen Street W/Lisgar Street). It's been a while since I've been there. It was a busy spot!

I had a slice of pepperoni pizza for supper. Yum!

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a slice of pepperoni pizza at King Slice (Queen W/Dovercourt). The last times I’d been there, they weren’t good experiences … their slices sitting around waiting to be reheated weren’t great.  

I stopped in today for lunch and asked for a pepperoni slice.  It was a 5 minute wait as they were still in the oven.  Right on! Hot and fresh and worth the wait.

When I lived in High Park, I would go to King Slice (Bloor W/Dundas W) quite often ... I've stopped in every once in a while since I moved from that area.  The staff was rude but the pizza was good if you got it fresh out of the oven.

Two weeks ago King Slice opened a new location in our 'hood at the former Vinny Massimo's (Queen W/Dovercourt) and Gord and I stopped in this evening for a slice.

The staff was friendly at this location ... yay!

They have done a lot of renovations since it was Vinny Massimo's (which was kind of scummy).

Gord got a deluxe slice and I got a pepperoni slice.

The slices were large and okay ... I'd go back.  Interesting, though, that they taste different from the other location ... you'd think they would be consistent.
