Mill Street Brewery, Mississauga, ON

I conducted an enrolment seminar this morning and am flying to Winnipeg this afternoon.  So I drove to the airport after the seminar and had lunch at Mill Street Brewery (in the airport) before my flight.

My server, Cristina, recommended the Drunken Butter Chicken, which is on the holiday menu.

Once Gord and I got the word that our flight was cancelled and we were rescheduled on a flight to Halifax this evening, we headed to Mill Street Brewery for supper and to kill a couple hours.

We logged onto our laptops to see what we'd missed in the five hours since we'd arrived at the airport.

There were lots of people in the restaurant grabbing a bite to eat.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, minus the cheese, and mashed potatoes.

It was delicious and a lot of food!

Gord ordered a burger and a salad.

He said it was a good burger!

Our server was Renee. She had a great personality and was a lot of fun.  She'd been there since 5am and still had a lot of energy and enthusiasm.

There was a huge chalkboard just outside the restaurant and Gord couldn't resist adding his two cents.

I am heading to Winnipeg today ... I'll head home Thursday evening.  I have some seminars and one-on-ones to conduct for a client.

I didn't check the status of my flight before I left home ... when I got to the airport, I discovered it was delayed by a half hour.  That gave me time for a more leisurely lunch.

Mill Street Brewery is new at the airport.  It was near my gate so I thought I'd check it out.

It kind of looks like a pub ... until you look out onto the "patio", which is the the inside of the airport.

I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala.  The fella sitting next to me was having it and said it was good ... and it was.  It could have been a bit hotter (heat-wise).

When I left, I discovered that my gate had been changed at the last minute so I was scampering to the other end of the airport.
