Liberty Commons at Big Rock Brewery, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper this evening at on the patio at Liberty Commons in Liberty Village.

He had Crispy Fish Tacos (two tacos, crystal batter, cabbage, red onion, citrus mayo, pineapple salsa) and a Scotch Egg (pork sausage, AP sauce, piccalilli). He liked the Scotch Egg but thought the taco shell was too dry.

I had Liberty Fish and Chips (crystal battered haddock, fries, tartar sauce). The fish was good but the batter had a bit of a weird taste.

Gord and I had supper this evening at Liberty Commons in Liberty Village.

They brew beer on site

My Life Goes On beer was tasty!

We both ordered a fried chicken sandwich (minus the coleslaw).  I got mine with fries and Gord got his with a Caesar salad.  The aioli was garlicy and there was a bit of bite/heat.  The sandwiches were messy and good.  We'd get it again.

Gord and I had supper this evening on the patio at Liberty Commons in Liberty Village.

The Sparkling Summer Sangria was tasty!

Gord started with a Scotch egg.  He loves Scotch eggs and has had it here whenever we go!

He also ordered a 6ix Reuben and swapped his fries for potato salad.  He wasn't too crazy about the potato salad.  I tasted it and it had an odd flavor.

Liberty Commons at Big Rock Brewery, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had an early supper at Liberty Commons this afternoon in Liberty Village.  With COVID restrictions, only the patio was open and the tables were well-spaced.

Alexander was our server and he took excellent care of us ... he was friendly and helpful.  When we told him it was my birthday and our anniversary, he gave us some complimentary bubbly.

Gord started with a Scotch egg and I had a cheese scone.  Yum!

We both ordered Fish & Chips.  We'd never had it there before and it was delicious!  The batter was very light and the fish was flaky.  We'd definitely get it again.

Liberty Commons at Big Rock Brewery, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper this evening at Liberty Commons in Liberty Village.  We'd been there in February just after it opened and enjoyed it.

It was jammed when we got there but we were able to get a table.

Gord started with a Scotch Egg ... he loves Scotch Eggs and loves theirs.

He also had Beef Brisket, which is what he ordered the last time.   He said it was really good.  I tried a piece and the beef was really tender and I liked the smokey taste.

Gord and I had supper this evening at Liberty Commons in Liberty Village ... it opened just five days ago.

Big Rock has a beer store if you want to pop in and buy their beer (they make a couple onsite).
