After spending a couple hours walking around Bronte Creek Park, Gord and I stopped at the Judge & Jury for a late lunch. It's been a while since we've been there.
Gord ordered chicken wings with lemon pepper dry rub. We were a bit put off by the price ... $19 for wings?! But when they arrived they were HUGE and there were lots of them. Apparently it's about two pounds. I had a couple and they were good ... I'd get them the next time.
I ordered fish (haddock) and chips. I'm not a big fan of battered fish so don't order it very often in restaurants. It was good.
Stacey was our server. She was friendly and took good care of us. I had called ahead to make sure their patio was open (their website said they are only doing take-out) and she saved us a table (without me even asking!). Thanks, Stacey!

Judge & Jury, Burlington, ON
I had a meeting this morning in Hamilton (about 45 minutes away) and stopped off for lunch on my way back to Toronto at the Judge & Jury in Burlington. It's been a while since I was there.
It was busy so I sat in the bar area.
I always get wings and with a side order of mac 'n cheese there. Alas, the mac 'n cheese was taken off the menu about six months ago. So instead I got a half order of garlic bread with cheese and wings with medium sauce.

Judge & Jury, Burlington, ON
After we saw Shatner's World: We Just Live in it, we stopped on our way home for supper at the Judge & Jury in Burlington. We hadn't been there since April.

Judge & Jury, Burlington, ON
After spending a couple hours walking around Bronte Creek Park, Gord and I stopped at the Judge & Jury for supper.
We haven't been since last July. It's a cute spot. Too bad the beer isn't all that interesting ... the usual big names.
We both ordered Mac and Cheese.
It was good ... but it used to be better. It's not as sticky ... it's more runny.
Gord ordered Cajun wings.
I ordered hot wings ... they were huge and good!
Terri was our server and she took good care of us.

The Judge & Jury, Burlington, ON
One of Gord and my favourite pubs is the Judge & Jury in Burlington. We go whenever we are in the area.
We discovered this pub after we'd been snowshoeing in January. We stopped in this evening on our way home from Niagara on the Lake.

We always get the same thing ... a side order of Mac and Cheese.
And wings. Gord's were Mancester style (he doesn't like gunky wings) ...
And mine were tossed in a hot sauce ...
Yum-mee!!!
Though we always get the same thing, we are never disappointed. The Mac and Cheese is soooo good and the wings are big and delicious!
The servers are always friendly. Terri, our server this evening, remembered us from us stopping in after one of our snowshoeing adventures.
You should check this pub out if you are in the Burlington area. We wish it was closer to us because we could see this being "our" place.

The Judge & Jury, Burlington, ON
After snowshoeing at Crawford Lake, Gord and I had supper at the Judge & Jury in Burlington on our way home.
Thanks to Jack, the wee man who lives in our GPS, for directing us there.
It is a cute cozy place.

Gord ordered fish and onion rings (only $9.99 for two pieces of haddock!).
I ordered wings. They are "market priced" ... $9.99 for ten big ones.
We both ordered a side of mac and cheese.
Everything was delicious!
Kim, our server, had lots of enthusiasm and took good care of us.
It was fairly empty when we got there at 4:30ish. By the time we left at 6ish, it was packed.
Alas, it's too bad they are so far away ... it would be awesome if this was our neighbourhood pub. I can see why it's been voted Burlington's #1 pub 12 years in a row.
