Dr. Generosity, Toronto, ON

I met friends ... Yvonne, Pat, Anita, Angie, Rosa, Amanda and Jen ... tonight for supper at Dr. Generosity in Bloor West Village (Runnymede/Bloor W).

Dr. Generosity is one of Angie's favourite restaurants.

I had Dr. G’s Clubhouse (oven roasted turkey breast, bacon, lettuce and tomato on a toasted ciabatta bun. Served with a side of roasted pepper mayo) with mashed potatoes.

Here's Yvonne's Oriental Sesame Chicken Salad (Sesame chicken breast, baby spinach, Savoy cabbage, green onion, and Oriental noodles tossed in a light sesame dressing; topped with mandarin oranges and crispy noodles) ... it was a big salad!

Here's Jen's Dr. G’s Gourmet Burger (gourmet burger is cooked to medium well and served on a fresh bun with lettuce, tomato and red onion) and sweet potato fries.

Here's Angie's seafood risotto special.

Here's Amanda's Beef Tenderloin Penne (marinated beef, roasted red pepper and arugula in a roasted garlic cream sauce).

Pat and Rosa had the red snapper special.

Angie's birthday was last Friday and they surprised her with a dessert.

And here we are ... Yvonne, Pat, Anita, Angie, Rosa, me, Amanda and Jen.

Great to get together and catch up. Thanks for organizing us, Angie!

Dr. Generosity's, Toronto, ON

Gord and I met Angie and Rob for brunch today at Dr. Generosity's (Bloor W/Runnymede). They go there often ... I'd only been there once before with Angie a few years ago.

It's quite a popular spot for brunch and they don't take reservations so we got there at 10:00, right when it opened. It really got packed fast!

I had Dr.G's Clubhouse (oven roasted turkey breast, bacon, lettuce and tomato on a toasted ciabatta bun; served with a side of roasted pepper mayo). The sandwich was quite hearty and I barely touched my fries.

Here's me, Angie, Rob and Gord ...

And here's Gord, Angie and Rob outside the restaurant as we left.

It's really cold today (there's a windchill) so we hugged good-bye and scampered to our cars to head home.
