Garter Stitch Stripe Knitted Dish Cloth

I knitted a dish cloth using a garter stitch stripe pattern I found in Knitting Stitches Visual Encyclopedia.

I used various scraps of cotton yarn and 5mm needles. 

I cast on 38 stitches and knit 4 rows of garter stitch. I slipped the first stitch of each row knitwise so it wouldn't curl.

Row 1 (RS): Knit

Row 2: Purl

Row 3: Knit

Row 4: Knit

After it gets to the length you want, knit 4 rows of garter stitch and then bind off.
